Installation guide:
Mazda RX8 ~ Air injection blank off plate
IMPORTANT: This installation is intended for racing or off-highway use only!
The air injection system introduces fresh air into the exhaust to help the Cat! Installing this blank off plate will cause damage to the Catalytic converter please make sure you know how to adjust your vehicle and engine before installing this kit!
TOOLS:
You will need the following tools:
Wrench and Socket set - You will need these if you don’t already have a set!
Constant tension spring clamp pliers - Used to remove the constant tension clamps
Pick set - Used to loosen the hose for removal and undo harness clamp
Channel Lock Pliers - Used to undo the hose for removal
Flush Cutters - Used to cut the zip tie flush so no sharp edges!
Kit Content:
The kit contains the following parts:
Blank off plate
Wiring harness mounting bracket
Vacuum hose plug
Vacuum hose zip tie
Re-use the following components:
All bolts and nuts
Stainless steel gasket

NOTE: The side with TST faces outward and will be visible when the install is complete
NOTE: The QR code for the install guide faces towards the exhaust and will not be visible after the installation.
