This kit will only work with Series 1 US Spec LHD Mazda RX-8 between 2004-2008.
This kit will NOT work with Series 2 RX-8’s model year 2009 and later
The Mazda RX8 has an air injection system to push fresh air into the exhaust. This kit provides a block off plate in order to remove the air induction tube from the exhaust pipe. Included in the kit is a plug to block off the vacuum line to the air injection system as well as a plate to replace the mount for the electrical harness and a tie down for the vacuum hose
